About Amplify
Amplify is a pioneering programme set up by award-winning charity the London Music Fund, in partnership with YouTube, in February 2020. This fund supports small organisations providing training opportunities within the music industry, widening access to creative pathways for young people who face barriers in their careers.
We are thrilled that the programme, which has been running successfully in London since 2020, will expand to Liverpool in the spring of 2025.

London Music Fund
The London Music Fund was founded in May 2011. It is a registered charity established to support and benefit young musicians across the capital, especially those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, and was named winner of ‘Outstanding Musical Initiative’ at the Music & Drama Education Awards in its tenth anniversary year.
Since 2011, LMF has supported over 900 children through its four-year Scholarship programme and reached over 10,000 young musicians through additional partnership and project funding. In total, over £4.5m has been invested in music education in London.

The legacy of our involvement with Amplify has been the confidence that we have gained from acquiring the funding. We didn’t believe that anybody had an interest in funding a project like this but Amplify London has given us our wings and we intend to fly.
